I approach every project on the premise that we all have talent to offer and therefore we all bring value to the project. I find myself in leadership positions because I take charge and treat everyone respectfully. In general I find people perform at their best when they feel valued.
I always approach negotiations assuming the best. Win / Win outcomes are the best for positive outcomes and smooth negotiations. I have found that when peoples positions are expressed openly, people tend to gravitate to fairness. While this is not always the case, it is still best to lead on a positive trend forward.
Like due-diligence, contract review is critical in assuring that expectations on all sides are met. Often times details that need tweaking turn out to be strengthening.
Due-diligence is critical in any risk assessment. Often times it can lead to building a stronger business plan with more detailed business strategies.
Team building and relationship building go hand in hand. Communication is key. I have great experiences in the teams I have put together and those given to me.
Listening is key. It puts you in the position to meet expectations and represent the best image of your brand.
