About Me
My Experience
Several years after completing my Associates degree in Business from Northwood University; I went back to school and completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. As a returning student and mom back in the world of academia, a mentor encouraged me to consider a BGS or Bachelors of General Studies. It turned out to be good advice and a good decision. My BGS ultimately provided me with diversity in subject matter and the best utilization of my previously earned credits. The concentrations I chose to focus on were business, marketing, communications and psychology. As it turns out, they have all given me the foundation and the blend I needed and have fully utilized thus far.
My Skillset
By nature, when I get excited about a project I like to build and create a momentum of positive energy and actions to bring “it all to life”.
I have been told I am a creative and worldly visionary with strong
interpersonal skills. I work well with a wide variety of people and projects. This keeps my life interesting and ever evolving. My outlook on life has given me the gift of meeting many people; in many walks of life, with exposure to a wide range of new technology
My Passions
My passions tend to revolve around ideals that create impact. Whether these impacts are micro or macro in nature; I always work towards the creation of “something better”. My mother instilled the desire in me to “always leave a situation better than in which you came”. I try to live up to that always. This mindset draws me towards things I am passionate about and keeps me focused.
